Afgelopen november vierde het Cédric Hèle instituut haar 20-jarig bestaan tijdens het jaarlijkse congres. Er werden een aantal interessante presentaties gegeven binnen het thema ‘Stof tot Groeien.’ Het Cédric Hèle instituut is het Vlaams kennis- en vormingscentrum voor psychosociale oncologie en is structurele partner van Kom op tegen Kanker. Eén van de experts die een lezing gaf was prof. dr. Marije van der Lee van het Helen Dowling Instituut (HDI) in Nederland. In het HDI wordt psychologische zorg geboden aan patiënten met kanker. Marije gaf tijdens deze feestelijke congreseditie een presentatie over de evolutie van de psychosociale oncologie.
